Every refresh passes a validation gate before it is published: prices must be positive, discounts in range, currencies covered by current exchange rates and region coverage stable. When a source is unreachable we keep the last good data and say so on the status page — a stale number is never silently replaced with a wrong one.

What we will and won't do

We only list verified, authorized storefronts — no gray-market key resellers. Rankings are always ordered by price, never by commission. All-time lows are labeled with their provenance: externally recorded lows say so, and prices we observed ourselves say "lowest since we started tracking". Giveaway records are not treated as purchase prices.

Fair warnings

Regional prices are store list prices converted at daily exchange rates — not checkout totals. Taxes, payment fees and rounding differ by country, and whether you can buy from another region depends on your account, payment method and platform rules. Prices refresh on the cadence above, so a flash sale can briefly show its previous state.

GamePriceMap is an independent project, not affiliated with Valve, Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Epic Games or any listed store. Game artwork and names belong to their publishers. Multi-store deal data by CheapShark; PC price history by IsThereAnyDeal; reference rates via Frankfurter, with ExchangeRate-API as the attributed fallback.
